Live 2 Dance (L2D) would like to welcome you to our studio. We are proud of professional staff and our well rounded dance program. We excited to share our LOVE for dance to you and your children. Our Program teaches you and your child how to work in a group environment and group skills; creating new and different friends from our wonderful community; dance stimulates the brain and body movement, through music and movement, creating art. HOW TO REGISTER

  • Former students may register by mail starting beginning of July – Mid July (see Mail-in Registration PDF file on this page). This link will give you info on how to register.
  • Former and NEW students may register on scheduled SET registration dates and are usually scheduled in last week of July & 2-3 dates scheduled in August (see Registration Dates PDF file on this page). We ask you to come in to SET Registration Dates so our staff can visit with you and help explain our policies and assure you are registering in the correct classes.
Registration Form(s) and Registration Contract:

  • Registration Forms on PDF file listed to the left on this page. There are TWO different forms:
    • Mail-in form for class choices for FORMER students only;
    • Registration form blank where OFFICE USE must finalize this information.
    • Class information listed under Class Schedule link info updated yearly by July 1st Class sizes are limited.
  • Registration Contract: Please read thoroughly and initial section to assure you have read this information.
  • Payment methods:
    • Automatic withdraw monthly tuition or also can be used for other items upon signature of signee.
    • By Check or Cash. At this time we do not accept payment by credit card.
Payment received at the time of Registering:
  • Registration Fee
  • May Tuition – this is collected at this time as this is a 9-month enrollment program, also in May you will recital ticket expenses.
  • September Tuition – can be paid at the time of registering or paid by September 1st
  • Costumes Deposits – are optional but can be paid now – Oct 31st. (see Recital Costume Policy listed below)
  • Parents paying in full 9-month tuition in full See details below.

Additional expenses throughout the dance year
  • Monthly Tuition due at the 1st of each month, grace period until 15th of each month
  • Costumes Deposits – (Costume Deposits PER class) are deposits to ORDER costume(s) it is only a percentage of costume not entire fee. Payments can be made in September and final deposits due by Oct 31st
  • Costume Balance – this fee is the remainder of what is owed on costumes. Due in February
  • Recital Book Advertising and Parents Pride. Sales begin March 1st – March 20th, space is limited!!
  • Recital Pictures – schedule in April, fee due at scheduled photo times.
  • Shoes – As dancers grow new shoes may be needed please place order shoes by Mid April to assure shoes arrive on time for recital.
  • Recital Tickets – purchased at Cam-Plex box office at beginning of May (dates & times TBA – info on RECITAL link)
Other Items offered at L2D
  • Recital Bears – these are great items for your child’s recital details and purchase at L2D through March-May 1st
  • Recital Flowers – Sold at L2D for L2D Assistant Fundraiser, please support your teachers’ assistance for education expenses. Other items may also available for purchase through L2D assistance.
  • Recital DVD – sold in May and mail –in purchases available
  • AT Recital –STARZ fundraising gift baskets sold as raffle or silent auction.
  • Recital Cast party all dancer and families are invited to this event, it will be a FUN sharing time for all. Date TBA yearly.
  • L2D logo attire – sweat pants, tshirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, official L2D jackets
  • ALL class attire may be purchase at L2D
Class Attire items needed to begin class

ALL dance class attire items can be purchase at L2D. Shoe fitting dates are listed on UPCOMING EVENTS link and see ATTIRE AND CLASS ETIQUETTE link for detailed class attire items.

  • Dance shoes – Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical (see ATTIRE link for detailed info as not all dancers need all styles of shoes)
  • Dance Attire – Black Leotard & Pink Tights for Ballet (see ATTIRE link for detailed info)
  • Hair Policy – Ballet classes BUN is required. Jazz and Tap for JR & Teen levels – Ponytail.
    Note: Bun Kits, Bun clips, Bun donuts are sold at L2D
  • Tumbling Attire – Leotard; or fitted dance shorts & top; NO tights or shoes; Hair in Ponytail
  • Hip Hop classes – class shoes are dancers own sneaker (clean soles please)
  • Dance Bag for all class attire to be placed into.
Note: At the time of purchase, receive a 10% discount when purchasing $75.00 of full priced retail items.

Email, Notices, Information Center

L2D will be using EMAIL and THIS WEBSITE to keep everyone up to date. If you do not have an email we strongly suggest you get one. This is vital for you to have an email and check it bi-weekly. If you change your email at ANY time please contact L2D office. Parents that do not have email are REQUIRED to come into the office; check with your teacher(s) AND read the bulletin board once a week. Notices will NOT be given in class. Phone calls are only made if class changes are made one day prior to event.

Billing & Check Fees

  • Monthly tuition due at the 1st of each month September thru April. Note: May tuition paid at the time of registration.
  • Tuition MUST be received in the L2D office no later than closing time on the 15th.
  • Late Fee: Effective in October, a $15.00 late fee will be added to accounts that are not paid by the 15th of each month.
  • A 5% discount will be given to those who pay their monthly tuition in full at registration for the entire year! If you pay the whole year in cash you will receive a 10% discount!!
  • Monthly Statements will NOT be mailed, except to Past Due Accounts.
  • Delinquent accounts may prohibit students from dancing until accounts are brought current.
  • Accounts that have "Non-sufficient Funds" check will be charged $35.00 and students may be prohibited from classes until account is brought current. Cash must be brought in to bring account current.
  • A $50.00 Costume Deposit per costume must be paid by November 1st. L2D recommends parents to split up costume payments in September and October.
  • Shoes and all merchandise are paid for at the time of ordering.
  • A 10% discount will be given on purchases over $75.00 for all dancewear and dance shoes.
  • Dancers who have been sized by a L2D staff but not purchasing from L2D will be charged a $10 fitting fee automatically charged to your account.
Recital Costume Policy

A $50 deposit per costume per class will be collected beginning on September

A $50 deposit per costume per class will be collected beginning on September 15th so costumes can be ordered early! Costumes will be ordered by the holidays in order to receive them in time for pictures and to allow time for exchanges, if necessary.

Costume Deposits must be paid by Nov. 1st.
All L2D registered dancers are not required to perform, but we highly suggest it. If you DO NOT wish to perform in the Spring Recital YOU MUST NOTIFY the L2D OFFICE IN WRITING BY Oct. 28th so we do not order a costume. A refund will be given for a costume deposit if we are notified by Nov. 1st and if tuition account is not outstanding. After Oct 28th, if a student withdraws for any reason or chooses not to perform in the recital after costumes are ordered, NO REFUNDS will be given. Parents are responsible for all costume balances even if student withdraw after costumes are ordered.

Every effort will be made by the L2D staff to select appropriate, quality costumes and to keep costume costs within the price ranges. It is with great consideration that sizes are chosen with regard to costume style, costume sizing charts and child’s anticipated growth. Any alteration necessary will be the responsibility of the parents.

Important: All costs will depend on sizes and style; very elaborate costumes as well as extra large costumes will cost more. Prices below include accessories such as tights, shoe ribbons, etc. Information on shoe requirements for recital will be given to you by February when costume balances are due.

Approximate costume cost per class per costume:

  • Combo Tiny Tots; Kidz & Pre Jr. Classes: $50 - $70
  • Junior Classes: $60 - $80
  • Teen/Adult Classes: $80 - $120
